They are doing a lot to prevent the disease such as:

  • Providing Bed nets.
  • Helps making vaccine.
  • Anti mosquito sprays. 
  • Some great awareness programs.

History of Disease

Malaria is one of the oldest disease known to mankind which was  first noticed in 1889 by Charles Louis Alphonse Laveran. Malaria is  a wide spread and lethal infectious disease, has afflicted people for much of human history. The prevention and treatment of the disease have been investigated in science and medicine for hundreds of years, and, since the discovery of the parasite which causes it, attention has focused on its biology. As malaria remains a major public health problem, causing 250 million cases of fever and approximately one million deaths each year.
  

Where it might occur next?

From all the information collected, the conclusion has been made that the next outbreak is going to occur in some part of Africa, Where people are not serious about sanitation.

  • Malaria was started from Africa.
  • Discovered in 1880.
  • Fatality rate is exceeding 20%.
  • Symptoms usually appear after 15-30 days of mosquito bite.
  • Most common symptoms are headache and chills.
  • Malaria kills about 1 million people every year.
  • Charles Louis Alphonse Laveran was the first person to discover the disease.
  • It occurs mostly in the tropical parts of the world.
  • India, Africa, Central America and some parts of Europe is where this disease occurs the most.
  • It can be cured if treated.
